It's ok for the price but not that impressive
GeorgeK2686 14.03.2023
As far as low wattage tube amps go, there are not many in the market. This is a very decent amp, but I found the 1-watt Marshall DSL1 to be a lot more impressive, with more features and the price is very close.
The lack of eq, means you need a drive or eq pedal in front to really shape the tone.
It is loud, even at 1-watt. There is little change in volume between 1 and 5 watts, but it feels that this amp delivers better at 1 watt. It would have been more useful as a bedroom amp if it was 1-watt with the option to reduce to 0.1 watts.
The overall tone is rather bright - this if you like it or not comes down to preference.
At 5 watts connecting it to an external cabinet makes a big difference!
I played it for two days straight - works well as a pedal platform and it starts getting a crunch with the volume turned to 7 and above.
I think for small live gigs this can be used either on its own or connected to another cabinet.

Great little amp, check for quality issues
Nick MG 25.09.2024
It sounds great, not just for the price, but in general. A bit on the bright side but it's natural considering the size.

The first unit I got had a loud buzzing that I thought was inherent to the amp, fortunately, the amp broke and stopped working only after an hour or so after getting it home which means it was clearly broken upon arrival.

I returned it and the new unit is completely noise-free. Let's see how long it lasts!

Great little amp, but avoid if you have neighbours
More_Synths_Please 19.11.2024
I bought this amp in the hope of having some of the warmth of a tube amplifier in a compact form for home guitar rehearsal and recording.
The amp itself sounds good, actually amazingly good for the price, and generally does what it is supposed to do in making the quiet electrical signals of my guitar louder, that is however also where the main problem with the amp lies - it is too loud!
I was sold on the idea that the 5W/1W selector would make the amp quiet enough to be played at home, but I find that even on the lower power setting and with the volume turned all the way down, it is still too loud to play in my flat with neighbours next door. On top of that, turning both the amp and my electric guitar down low results in losing most of the warmth and sound dynamics that a tube amp is meant to offer.
I think this would be a great little amp to have for a practice room where you can afford to be a bit loud without annoying anybody, but I cannot recommend it for home use at all.
The amp has remained largely unused in the years since I bought it as a result.

Equalizer missing. The build quality is good. The quality of the materials is low. UPS delivery is terrible. Price quality, you can not argue. Combo amp sound for clean sound and crunch. Not much overload.
