Exactly the tool required for all the settings on my guitars

The kind of tool a tinkering guitarist can't do without.
This model comes in a convenient plastic case, is very easy to use and sufficiently accurate. Mine had batteries installed as well as a set of spares.
The thumb wheel feels a bit wobbly, but at this bargain price I can definitely live with that.

Nothing more to say that this caliper does what it is supposed to do: Precise measurements!

When in need for precise measurements of your guitar to get the correct extra-parts, this tool does the job great. I use it to make precise measurements when making new Bone Nuts for my guitar.
It also comes inside a very sturdy case and it also came with 3 batteries ! This should last me for the next 50 years.

This is well made, highly accurate, easy to use, and stable. By stable I mean that when you zero it closed, extend and then re-close the caliper, it returns to zero. (Sure, any measurer should, but they don't all!).

If I measure the gauge of a .009 string, it's reads just that. For guitar and guitar tech/kit, hard to imagine needing anything more from a caliper measurement tool.

Does the job

Done pretty well. The accuracy of the readings is also good. Includes 2 spare batteries. Definitely worth the money.

This tool is really useful not just for guitar but also for other areas of diy. The build quality is solid but my only complaint is that the digital readout can be a bit off sometimes.
