Serious miscalculation in geometry
Disappointed with this product for the following reasons:
1. The first string does not sound adequate, I think it's a mechanical defect
2. Very rough frets (although this can be easily fixed)
3. The main defect that devalues everything is the incorrect installation of the bridge, its supports are set further from the neck by a few millimeters than it should be, and when I began to tune the scale, the saddle of the first string rested against the support, which did not allow the saddle to be moved to the desired position ( towards the neck). This defect is eliminated only by reinstalling the supports in the correct position, and this is a serious alteration. The guitar is currently unplayable because it is not possible to adjust the scale

OP
Disappointing QC
First the good:
It's on the heavier side for Swamp Ash (which is a good thing), the neck is super comfy and not too thin, neck was straight enough, there weren't any sharp frets and it stayed in tune without any mods to the trem.
The bad:
Even though it said it was checked before shipping via Thomann...
The middle pickup was dead. There was buzz spots all over the neck. The fretboard was very very dry and starting to flake beyond the 14th fret. The bolt on neck join was not flat nor flush and the strings were completely sitting in the nut and not lubricated at all. The strings were dead and the pickups, while loud, were dull.
It's great for a project (replace pickups/nut etc) and the wood tones are fantastic...but I feel that whomever inspected it at Thomann went 'bah it's a beginner guitar going to a beginner! They either won't notice it or won't care!
I probably won't buy from Thomann again if they let their guitars go out with trash setups.

No Help From Thomann
I purchased this from Thomann and upon receiving the guitar I discovered a black mark on the body of the guitar. I tried several different types of guitar cleaners and polishes I have (Fender, Gibson. Ernie Ball, etc) and none removed it . I think now that the mark was on the wood and the finish was applied over the mark!! I contacted Thomann and never got a reply as to what I should do about the problem no much for customer service!

Not what's pictured
Guitar showed up with a much lighter finish than the photo on the website. Body was made of two pieces of wood which were two completely different shades and no attempt to match the grain. Set-up was terrible, and the spring saddle in the back of the tremolo was installed incorrectly and then moved without filling either of the previous two holes. There was almost no edge distance between the holes which will probably lead to cracking. Pretty sad seeing it had several tags indicating it passed quality control.
