5 stars for all items? Well yes. Have been playing a bit over 50 years and have my share of " top brand guitars ". This is actually the 6th guitar I have purchased from Harley and as always, just about perfect.
No issues with shipping, well packed, no damage. Pristine right out of the box. Only had to tune it up and plug it in. Intonation spot on, frets smooth...no rough edges. Action perfect for me with no fret buzz. The 5 way switch gives alot of varied tones being able to hit most generes.
To me the guitar just sounds great and am happy with how it plays.
The reason for the 5 stars is I doubt you will find a guitar with this much quality for this very low price. If I was still out there playing gigs, I would not hesitate to use this ax on stage.
All I can say is, even if this type of guitar is not for you, style wise, check out one that would fit your needs. I can promise you , there will be no dissapointment.

this guitar was well set up from the factory where it was made at i had no problems with mine like other people that have rated this say they have had mine was perfect out of the box nothing wrong with it at all. my guitar still had the paper over the strings on the neck but it was really well set up from the factory it did not needed to be set up by thomann at all. i have allways wanted this guitar but i was allways put off it becuase of what other people were giving it bad reviews do not listen to them this guitar is really good im glad i got this guitar now cos i am really pleased with it and really happy with this guitar

I had high hopes..

This is the 3rd Harley Benton I ordered from Thomann, and I hate to say this one is a dud. The finish looks great and it's playable after polishing and cleaning up the sharp fret ends. The problem is the cheap bridge. Due to it's poor design, several of the strings sound like a sitar because of vibration coming from the bridge saddles.

Someone guessed I paid 1000$ for it.

When I got this guitar I asked my friends what they thought I paid for it ($194) - people were guessing everywhere from 500-1000$. This is a an obviously well made and striking guitar.

It looks like it came from a "premium" vendor and it did, but HB didn't charge a premium price.

The finish is flawless, the hardware is surprisingly good for the price and while I hand it a 4 stars on sound, I think that's a tremendous accomplishment, especially at this price point.

It lacks the sustain and resonance of my Schecter and PRS guitars, but I paid 5 times a much for them!

At volume with both pickups going playing power chords in drop D, only really experienced people are going to make the distinction - is a great guitar.

I will buy several more in different finishes to set at different tunings and have no qualms about playing them in front of people.

Beginner or expert - this is a great buy.
