Really good for the price
deusem 02.12.2021
It's a simple looper like the tc ditto looper but with the extra function that you can store 3 presets, and save them in your pc eventually.
The sound quality is very good, I have tried it intto the fx loop of my amp (which is quite picky - mesa rectifier solo head) as the last pedal of a chain of 4 pedals in the loop and it sounds the same as when it is off.
Keep in mind that the volume knob doesn't affect just the recorded phrase, but once the pedal is on, the whole level drops. When it's maxed it's on unity level , at least to my setup.
All in all, for the price I 'm happy with it

Edit:
After having spent some more time with it I realize that the volume thing is a big issue. I'm torn whether mine is defective, otherwise the very existence of the volume knob is useless. Once the pedal is engaged, the volume knob controls the whole signal, the dry as well ,it is supposed to affect only the volume of the recorded part not the dry part. Secondly , the sound is not unaffected ,it most definitely cuts off some low end frequencies, but I suppose that could be expected given the price, although I am talking even when the pedal is off, that is not how true bypass is supposed to work.

Totally satisfied, nothing to worry about.

There aren't many reviews about this pedal, probably because most people don't want to risk their money on a pedal that has no reviews around, so here's a review.

It works exactly as a looper pedal is supposed to work. The reproduction of the sound is spot-on, it does not deviate from what you actually play on the guitar. It also doesn't generate any noise and it is a true by-pass.

The manual doesn't include the functions of this pedal, but they're the same ones every looper pedal of this mini type has. These are:
One tap to record, tap again to close the loop (starts repeating the recording). You can tap again if you want to add additional layers (over-dubs).
You can hold the button to delete the last layer you added, or double-tap to pause the reproduction. If you have paused the loop, then holding the button won't only delete the last layer, but the entire track. There's also this button in the center (LEVEL button), but I'm not sure what it actually does as I haven't experimented with it yet, but I'll definitely update the review once I try it.

The looper can take up to 15 minutes of total recorded time (that includes the over-dubs as well) and you can extract the audio files (WAV format) with a micro-USB, which is also included.

I honestly do not see a reason to go with the more expensive options. I'm totally satisfied by this looper as it does exactly what it is expected to do.

Eingebauter Hochpass macht den looper unbrauchbar
Andreas Genet 30.05.2022

Disappointing

It loops, it saves your loops, it allows you to switch through the loops- all good so far, but there were three main issues I had with the unit that resulted in me returning it:
1. Some lack of internal shielding meant it added a hum to my setup when plugged in, even in bypass mode;
2. The volume knob is a global volume, not just for the loop, which is a design choice that I just can’t understand at all;
3. A recorded loop is played back at a higher volume than the dry guitar signal. This was the biggest issue for me: I intended to use the looper to set up sounds on pedals and in the Boss Katana, for which the other two issues were annoying, but not deal breakers. So I would record a loop, dial in a sound, then stop the loop and play. My guitar sound was noticeably quieter than the recorded loop, meaning both the volume and gain levels would be significantly off. As such, the looper is basically useless for my purposes.

If you want it to record some chords to solo over, then it’ll get the job done. For anything more, it’s not up to the job.

Does what I need for the price
Reverie1978 13.11.2024
I wanted a pedal as a training device, and this was one of the more affordable options on Thomann. The first time I received it, it was bricked/didn’t work. I was aware that this was an issue on the cheaper HB pedals but thankfully Thomann customer service replied fast and sent me an extra power supply to make sure that wasn’t the problem, and when it was sure it wasn’t a power supply problem, was able to replace the pedal quickly free of charge.

The pedal itself is of metal construction, very solid. This is my first pedal so I have nothing to compare it to, and I’m still a beginner with electric guitars. Took a while to get the timings right - imagine sheet music bars, you have to push the pedal just as you’re playing the first note and press again to loop just before you play the first note in the second bar. Haven’t tested unlimited overdubs but having 3 different tracks is nice. Can’t tell a noticeable difference between the tone before and after, but I’m just running an Ibanez Gio GRG140 into a Blackstar Fly 3, and I’m assuming that if you have a more expensive setup or gig then you’ll probably get a more expensive looper. I just play in my dorm and no experience gigging.

That aside, if I didn’t get the bricked pedal, I’d wholeheartedly recommend this looper. I live in EU so the returns not a lot of hassle for me, but buying something and gambling 50/50 whether it works or not shouldn’t be an issue. It’s affordable, does the job, and excellent customer support from Thomann.

Great looping pedal, all well known features are available (overlap, delete last layer etc.), you can even connect to PC and extract the recordings as 3 different tracks.
