Well, you get what you pay for, certainly, however for this unbelievably low price this is quite good. I needed to restring the A string - it kept popping out, and I had to find a way of it being retained on the peg. The intonation is poor, the C string gets sharper and sharper the further up the fingerboard you go. But I really didn't expect perfect intonation for this price! If you're just starting out, this is ideal.

Good instrument, especially for that price

The instrument was smaller than expected, which was my mistake though.
Furthermore, the quality and sound are both good, and looking at the price, better than expected

It's OK, but the finish isn't the best, the action is high, and it is expensive compared to very similar instruments on eBay.

For the money, you can't go wrong

I've bought 2 of these and I think they're great; they're not as loud as the bigger banjolele that Thomann do - but that's actually a good thing; they're a bit more home friendly. My only criticism is they don't sound as good as ukes that cost 10 times the price - but that seems a really harsh complaint; for the price, they are excellent.
