Cool little helper
To be brutally honest, I wanted these things at first because I thought they looked cool. For recording purposes you could always use a sock or a scrunchie, right? However, after I started using the fretwraps I started to notice a difference while playing. I rarely use them to dampen the strings when playing tapping or things like that (because I rarely do it). 98% of the time it sits above the nut - and that is where I need it.
When I don't have a fret wrap on and play riffs where a lot of muting is required, I can ALWAYS here the bit of strings between the tuners and the nut ringing now due to sympathetic resonance, which I didn't even notice before. The fretwraps clamp down on this phenomenon
So be warned, after you use these things, you'll proably end up needing them afterwards.
The over all quality of the fret wraps is OK, I notice bits of string (from the fretwraps) coming off now and then, when pushing it over the nut. Considering the price though, I think that kind of wear is acceptable. I've never worn one of these things out and I have the feeling they'll keep for quite a while.

Lets Gruv!!!
Great for cutting out unwanted ring from the head stock or bridge or on the fret board for tapping or to kill all the ring and string noise for recording to get really clean takes.
I think I should have gone for a larger size because the plastic ring tends to turn when tightened which happens on all my guitars even with smaller necks, still it works perfectly!!!

bye bye to noise
this fretwrap is a genius invention, wish it was priced a bit less it would have been awesome, but it does the job and it's made out of High Quality materials and it's making my recording way easier now.
The SM fits 6 strings electric guitar and a friend of mine tried it and it fitted on his 7 string guitar.

perfect :)
i used to use other methods in muting the strings while playing or recording but they were Inefficient and unreliable.
With the Fretwraps, i get to enjoy playing or recording clear sessions.
If you have a friend that has one, don't hesitate to ask to try it for a few days so you can see the difference yourself and then you can decide whether you like it or not.
Note about the size option:
I have ordered the SM size but i can see that its not perfectly suitable for my 6 string Ibanez RG prestige , since the Neck is a little bit wider than normal 6 string guitars, so maybe the MD size is more suitable in that case.

Brilliant!
Highly recommend this for any players that want to develop their tapping skills. I was told about these from a friend and decided to invest myself. A quality product, with no faults or negatives - Delivery was top notch as usual arriving from Germany to Yorkshire in 2 days. 5*

Fantastic, Worth the price!
These things may seem to be expensive for what they are but trust me, they do it really well, they look very professional and in fairness you do get 3 in every pack. I have one on all of my guitars and basses and love them. It's worth it, Trust me!

A must have...
...for the recording guitarist, whether in pro studio or home recording studio with your DAW. The fretwraps will kill all the unwanted string noise. So easy to strap on the neck

Great pony tail adjuster
I use them on my passive bass and guitars. This is a very simple product and I know some people just use a hair band or a sock. However, I am really satisfied with the build quality and usability. They are very easy to mount adjust as you please, and the result is better than with a home made version. They also don't look like shit.
Would definietly buy again even though they're overpriced.

Great little tool/accessory
The Fretwraps are used to mute your strings thus avoiding unwanted noise and string reverberation whilst playing. I found this tool very useful, particularly for legato playing. It has also proven very useful during studio recording to prevent unwanted noise during the recording of certain parts. Truly helps in getting a clearer and less muddy sound for certain parts. I would recommend these for everyone considering experimenting with legato as well as for recording.
