Cheap, very functional
I wanted something which looked a little bit better than the tried-and-trusted hairtie method to stop ringing sounds on my guitars and bass. The fretwraps are perfect, though I do have some concerns.
The quality of the padding isn't fantastic, I can feel already that it may break down over time and I don't imagine I'll be able to use these after a few years if I keep adjusting them. The sizing guide on the gruvgear website could do with being updated as these definitely won't fit SOME five-string basses (I play Ibanez BTB's with wide spacing)
Already, some of the threads have come away from all three in the pack.
Finally, the velcro is very poor and doesn't provide enough hold to keep the fretwrap in place, especially if using it as a mute over the fingerboard (instead of behind the nut)
With all that said, they are very cheap and extremely useful. I would buy them again, but I would pay attention to the sizing differences a bit more.

Nice tool for Recording
The Gruvgear Fretwraps are little, but nice tools to avoid disturbing string noise while recording.
Before i bought this i just used socks, but this product is more comfortable (warm feet^^) and works very well!
The only questionable thing aboute the fretwraps is the price...

Gruvgear Fretwraps SM
Got these pretty recently to get some control of the ringing from strings on (especially one guitar was extreme) a couple of my guitars. These guys are doing their job in a really good way. Sure there are cheaper ways of doing it that will still work, but these are doing it better in my opion and they are way easier to put on and take off and adjust. Just simply works great.

Works well as a string mute, if you?re happy with the price then the product won?t disappoint.

Great product !
This product is working well, but the 6 strings version can be a bit short for large necks.
It can also be used with a "string through body" setup, between the bridge and the body.
Durable product with strong seams and materials.

Gruvgear Fretwrap
You should first of all learn to mute the Guitar while playing yourself, as this is a skill in itself; but these fret-wraps are great for recording the guitar to eliminate unwanted vibrations from the strings...well worth having a pack in your guitar bag.
