Great upgrade.

I got myself few months ago a Keiki Sopran ukelele.
And is often with cheaper instruments, then the hardware is usually not great, not even good.
This Ukelele being no exception.
So I got myself these Grover tuners for it and most definitely they are miles away in quality than the stock tuners.
I had to do some minor drilling to widen out the holes to fit the bushings, but that was all good and easy to do.
I am leaving these tuners 4 stars simply cause I haven´t used them for so long, but so far, working just beautifully. They may very well be 5 star, but time will tell.

Seit über 25 Jahre baue ich Musikinstrumente (mein Hobby ), seit 3 Jahren Ukulelen.
Bei zwei von mir fachgerecht eingebauten Grover Sta-Tite Mechaniken ist es zum Zerbrechen des Kunststoffs der Knöpfe gekommen , bei zwei weiteren Knöpfen lockert sich bereits die Verbindung zwischen Metall und Knopf. (die Mechaniken sind bei zwei unterschiedlichen Instrumenten eingebaut )
Somit bin ich zur Nachbestellung gezwungen , um die defekten Mechaniken zu ersetzen .
In Zukunft kommen nur noch hochwertige Mechaniken in meine Instrumente .(z:B.: von Schaller oder Gotoh )
