Look great, but Grover’s QC is sloppy!
Siggy N 29.12.2021
The last tuner on the treble side was too short inside to tighten the string. Thomann gracefully sent replacement, but then there was a plastic knob (ok, mistakes happen), then they get a new one from Grover, which is working, only it is significantly shorter than the other 5 as it is barely long enought to go through the headstock wit( the string hole. Thomann (no complaints about them) are now sending me yet another tuner, and hopefully Grover has QC up and running again. The five correct tuners operate just fine, and seem stable, but it is just a shame that they are not consistent when it comes to quality.

A
Quality Tuners

Bought for an older Gretsch Electromatic the shafts are a bit longer than the stock tuners but it worked out fine once installed. The quality is outstanding nice chrome and no seams on the buttons. They work equally and smoothly no jumping at all. It makes for a great upgrade on the old ones. No holes were needed to be filled as these fit perfectly on the back. I am happy with this set there were no issues with the lockers either. But I suppose you would expect the quality from the higher price and Grover brand.
