Particularly good value!

I bought this guitar out of nessecity rather than actually wanting it! It was required for a very specific band, and I've certainly never bought a guitar I didn't actually want before!
When it arrived I was utterly bowled over! I got hold of a matter of half an hour before leaving for a gig, I have very picky tastes regarding set up etc.
But this came out the box requiring nothing more than a quarter turn othe bridge screws to lower the action slightly, and then it went straight on stage with me!
The build, fit and finish seem much much higher than comparably priced guitars, I'm genuinely shocked at its resonant tone and expressive, vocal qualities. I can't find a single blemish or sign of corner cutting in the construction.
The only fly in the ointment is the tuners, which are quite stiff, and erratic in their gearing and precision.
It's since seen several gigs and rehearsals and I continue to be impressed. It's a very lightweight guitar which balances well. The hardware (tuners aside) is well made and doesn't feel in any way 'cheap'.
A fantastic alternative to the many other budget brand offerings. Buy with confidence!

Very good quality guitar. Someone says "entry level" but I own many Fender and Gibson high rank guitars and it seems to me that this Gretsch does not look bad in the presence of these ones.
Excellent finishes and typical Gretsch sound, even if it features humbucker pickups.
Low price dosen't mean low standard in this case.

Excelente Guitarra
