Gibraltar SC-3261 Bass Drum Beater Felt

A well made and sturdy bass drum beater. The head is made of a hard felt and although it was slightly harder than I would have wished, it produces a solid, meaty thump with the slightly reduced attack that comes with felt. The one drawback with the beater is there is no grip surface or stepped cut outs on the shaft to aid pedal grip on the beater shaft. These are easy to provide, however, with a file and a bit of effort and given the excellent price of the beater this is a small grumble about an otherwise excellent product. I have given it some hard use and it has performed perfectly. I can honestly recommend this product.
