Good protection in a heavy and not completely convincing bag

I never really understood the purpose of the fancy magnet closing mechanism. It seems very unnecessary to me. Also it seems like it was sewn on a little skewed such that it didn't really close on its own as it's supposed to but it was actually a little annoying to get it to close.
The shoulder straps are not ideal. They pack down into a rather bulky pocket which makes it quite uncomfortable to carry on your back.
Hi Hat pocket is a little tight for 15".
The three dividers in the main pocket are attached to the bag which I never find to be ideal. The cymbals are touching each other at the bottom.
In terms of protection though this bag is probably the best of all the ones I've tried. The SPS system is reassuring and the padding all the way around is thick and good. Still though: the padding in the bottom may be extremely thich but also in this bag the cymbals sometimes slide down next to the padding and are then quite unprotected from the bottom. The diameter of the bag is bigger than in other bags which means that there's more room around the cymbals. This prevents them more from getting to the edge of the bag and the unprotected zipper-area.
The bag itself is pretty heavy and so with cymbals inside it becomes quite heavy - especially carrying on your back.

You can feel quality in the material and overall the bag is very decent. But the bottom bent slightly after being in the trunk of a car with all the other instruments and stuff. This only affects the asthetics, so nothing major, but still not very good for a bag of this class. Other than that, very decent, especially the backpack function is superb!

Finally, a cymbal bag that you can put on your back! If, like me, you're tired of carrying your cymbals at the end of your arms, this is for you. My band mate call me turtle but it definitely worth it. This will be fit for cymbals up to 22" maybe even 23". Just beware if you walk in crowded places. You will be larger than usual.
