Much prefer Gewa felts

As said before, find these grey felts to be larger fibres which are easier to work with and they don't crush or break down to power. They are prone to fraying and pulling apart with usually misuse or changing equipment around, but they last ages. Hard black ones tend to get brittle and break down into powder over time.

Used as replacement for a used hihat

I got my hands on a used hihat on a stand where the felts was missing. They where easy to replace (I'm not a drummer, just had some studio fun), and damped well as I expected.

Just bought these to refresh the old, and to try and give my hats the best chance for a recording. Seem like a nicely made set of felts. I thought they were a bit firm at first, but they all get firm once in use.
Nice robust composition, fitted well to my stand, and look like they will last for years
