Good quality case
MGokce 29.07.2021
Before I bought it, I was doubtful about whether the guitar would fit in the case. I bought the case asking many questions to the Thomann customer representatives. They said "yes, they will fit". But I was still doubtful. But when I received the guitar and case, I saw that my doubts were nonsense. The guitar perfectly fitted in the case very good. By the way, thank you very much to Thoman customer representatives.
The look of the case is very nice. It has a good balance to carry the guitar.
I preferred this case especially because it is suitable for 12-string dreadnought guitars. If one day I buy a 12-string dreadnought, I can easily use this case for also 12 strings.
There's also a compartment for the accessories such as picks, tuner, replacement strings, etc. It looks and feels to me more expensive than its price.
Happy with that purchase.

Sturdy and great value!

Gator cases are very well made but won’t break the bank. If you’ve got a precious instrument it’s good to know it’s well protected. The only downside is the position of the handle which unbalances the weight.

Yet another testament to Thomann service and quality.
Bart Cronin 23.03.2021
I initially made an inaccurate guess at the case my wife's guitar would need. This Gator Hardshell was recommended after sending measurements of the guitar to Thomann's experts. The speedy and efficient return and re-purchase left us with a case that has served us well. The case has stood up to many years of loading and unloading on frequent round trips, whether to the local Thursday night gig (when there were such things) or further afield. This case definitely does the job it was built for. And with the helpful and courteous service taken into account - another Thomann class act.

A
Really solid case, feels more expensive
Ante96 04.07.2021
I'm not an expert on guitars or cases by no means, I'm just an amateur player. This is my humble opinion on the guitar case.

Immediately upon opening, I was pleasantly surprised by the looks of it. It looks really nice and is finely balanced when carrying around. It fitted my Epiphone DR-100 perfectly (actually there was some extra space left!). There's a middle compartment for accessories which can fit all the basic stuff you need (picks, tuner, extra strap etc). It looks and feels more expensive than the price tag.

With the guitar, its weight is around 7kg which is comfortable for an average man carrying it around but my girlfriend said it would be too difficult for her to carry it around on longer distances (let's say if you had to carry it for 15 minutes). Keep that in mind, if you'll be carrying it around a lot, it's better to buy a higher priced soft case.

Overall, I was really happy with my purchase. Cheers Thomann!

A 1980 Guild D25M archback fits... just.
Verfblikje 15.01.2020
I bought this case for a 1980 Guild D25M, which has an arched back (rather than an arched top). Because of the arched back, the case is a bit tight when closing. Not ideal, but it is cheaper than a Guild case.
The fit is not terrific, but it works. The lid is a bit wobbly and does not fit the bottom accurately. It is not bad for the money, though.

Very Strong but uncomfortable handle
LocoRocoo 24.03.2019
I used this for flights and traveling. It kept my acoustic very safe, so I have full trust in it. The case itself took a slight chip after a couple of flights, but that's expected I suppose.

Sadly, the handle is extremely uncomfortable for anything other than picking it up. If you need to walk with it for a while it will likely cause you some pain.

Good all-rounder

I bought this to go with the Ibanez 12 string I've just had from Thomann. It will also fit my Harley Benton HBO 600, my HBO 650 or my trusty old dreadnought workhorse. I have an old hard case which (relatively, at the time) cost rather more than this Gator case, yet this new case seems to me to have better quality fittings and finish. I expect I shall enjoy many years service with this well-made case.

Splendid bit of kit

I'm a gormless oaf and need everything to be gorilla proof. This case is just that. Can't fault it. Inside and out tough as old boots.

Decent light duty travel case
howardjworf@aol.com 02.01.2023
I bought this along with a Takamine acoustic, as I thought it would be better to protect a good guitar with something more than a gig bag. It fits the guitar perfectly and is solidly made for the light duty it was intended to serve.
I transport my guitar to rehearsals and gigs in my car with a few plastic boxes of cables and accessories, a bass guitar in an ABS case, amp and a couple of stands - so nothing heavy or sharp, but still it is taking damage with cuts in the vinyl on the edges, although the guitar is well protected.
There is a useful compartment for spare strings, capo, etc under the neck support. The balance of the case is good.
So although this is good for what it is supposed to be I now know that I should have bought an ABS case instead.

Heavyweight case which provides good protection for the guitars. The only drawback l have found is that the clasps can break as the hinge pins could be more robust.
