Perfect fit
I was ordering some parts for a reissue I got recently and needed the covers. Perfect fit, high quality Fender original parts were the only way to go. Very happy with the quality and it keeps my Fender a Fender.

Adds a retro look to my bass. Been on the bass for a while now and showing no sign of tarnishing or discolouring. Screws are not supplied however, and I found it a little difficult to find screws of the right size and that match the appearance of screws already on the bass.

Overpriced
As you'd expect from Fender, this is a highly overpriced accessory. Sure, the quality is good and the plating is decent but it is certainly not worth the price. Next time I will shop around for a cheaper alternative. Of course, if you need an accurate retrofit for one of the vintage P-Basses in your collection, then this might be the most period-correct choice, but if all you need is a quality bridge cover, it is worth looking around for cheaper alternatives that aren't as overpriced as this one. I don't know about you but I hate supporting corporations that raise their prices to ridiculous heights without a good reason.

Looks good, feels good.
I bought this to add to the vintage mojo of my 57 reissue P bass.
Not much you can say about it other than it was perfect right out of the pack, the screws are also of good quality, I have found the cheaper knock off bridge covers often come with cheap nasty screws that the heads grind out while putting it on making it a pig to take off.
Plating perfect all over as well so it doesn't make any scratches on the finish where you put it on.
No sharp edges if you rest your hand on it and looks great.

Great for my use.
I use this to keep the foam damping in place for my old precision. The resulting sound is really old school soul and for certain styles is perfect.

Fender Vintage P-Bass Bridge Cover
I bought this along with a few other parts to upgrade a 1996 Japanese P bass. The part is very well made and nice and light. It is finished well and there are no imperfections or abrasions to its very shiny finish. It has added a touch of retro cool to my bass and finished it off nicely. I play in a functions band, too, and often pop a bit of foam under the strings at the bridge to dampen the sound, especially for motown and souk music. This cover enables me to do so, without having an ugly piece of foam on display!

Great Bridge Cover.
This bridge cover is just what you need to give your "fenderstyle" precision bass the old-school look.
Fits perfect on Fender original basses.
Quality and finish have nothing further to whish for. Looks great on my bass!
