Best mid range without a doubt
Rafa23 19.05.2018
The amount of awesome tones possible to get with this bad boy is astonishing, looking at the very nice price tag it carries. The cleans are the best part of the amp, but it carries a usable overdrive too. Plenty of power and headroom, i won't be needing any more volume than this can get. Awesome for studio, rehearsals, and live gigs.

J
Surprisingly loud!
Jeevan 18.09.2015
This amp is brilliant, capable of full tonal communication and handles bass effects very well. Although is oversold as a 500w amp it's important to note that it's about 375w without a 8ohm extension cab, but by no means is this an under powered amp. It is plenty loud for your average band situation (unless your rhythm guitarist is playing down-tuned through a bass head). This amp also more than holds it's own in medium sized venues and consistently delivers a solid tone (it is important to remember though that you need a good bass to get a good amp tone). The effects section of the pre amp is quite impressive, VINTAGE turning any bass into a pretty good emanation of a 60s p-bass tone, CONTOUR bringing a decent slap tone and BRIGHT being pretty much useless if your bass has good pickups.

I used this amp with my MIM jazz bass directly into the amp. It has a very stable sound, maybe a bit boomy for my taste. About power, no need to write much... it has plenty of it (half way Vol/gain pot is more than enough for mid size clubs). It is lightweight to carry. All in all a very nice amp for this price... can't go wrong with it.

Loud machine

I use it in a rocknroll stoner band with loud guitar and drums. So far i managed to test it at band practice and it can be louder than anybody with half of volume. Walls are shaking :)

Con is bad quality footswitch pedal if you buy it, but it doesn't matter that much.
