Rock music would not be the same without it

Fender Player Series Tele MN BTB Electric Guitar

The Fender Telecaster is an integral part of Rock history, and Fender is keeping this spirit alive with the Player Series Tele MN BTB, an instrument that comes in a classic Butterscotch Blonde finish and combines all of the attributes associated with a genuine Tele. These include an alder body, a slim maple neck with a maple fingerboard, and pickups with AlNiCo-V magnets, which have been specially developed for the Player Series and provide an enormously versatile sound that will fit seamlessly into many musical styles. This is rounded off by the typical Tele-type bridge, which delivers an extra helping of resonance with its string-through-body design, and a set of reliable machine heads that adorn the guitar's classic Telecaster headstock.

Pure playability

Anyone playing Country, Blues, or any kind of Rock & Roll can’t go wrong with a Telecaster. The Tele has a well-earned reputation as one of the world's most playable electric guitars, and the Player Series Tele is no exception. With its slim, matt-lacquered maple neck and 22-fret high-gloss maple fingerboard, players get a combination of finishes that used to be available only on much more expensive models. The two New Player AlNiCo-V single coil pickups deliver the typical Tele sound, which of course includes the familiar "twang" that can be controlled via a three-way switch, as well as a single control each for volume and tone. The instrument’s authentic looks would of course not be complete without the classic metal bridge plate, which thanks to the string-through-body design and steel saddles provides an extra portion of resonance and sustain.

Welcome to the world of the Fender Telecaster

In spite of its high build quality, the Fender Player Series Tele MN BTB is available at an attractive price, which makes it ideal for guitarists who want to add an authentic Fender to their collection as well as for beginners looking to have a reliable and high-quality Tele in Fender's classic Butterscotch Blonde finish as part of their arsenal right from the start. The comfortable slim-taper maple neck should appeal to everyone, and the New Player AlNiCo-V single coils put everything from crystalline cleans through to full-on overdrive sounds at the player's fingertips, with the Telecaster's trademark assurance that the sound will always cut through the mix while delivering plenty of headroom and of course the famous "Tele twang".

About Fender

Fender is without doubt one of the most legendary guitar and amplifier manufacturers of all time. The company was founded in 1946 by its namesake Leo Fender († 1991), whose innovative ideas brought a breath of fresh air into the musical world. His Telecaster, Stratocaster, Precision Bass, and Jazz Bass are not only classics – they also continue to shape the styles of musicians in countless genres to this day. Timeless Fender amplifier models such as the Bassman, Twin, Deluxe, and Princeton also enjoy a stellar reputation. Besides maintaining its classic product portfolio, however, the company is also constantly developing new products that make Fender a driving force in today’s music industry.

Versatile AlNiCo-V pickups

The Fender Player Series Telecaster's combination of a solid wood body and neck together with its New Player AlNiCo-V single coils gives it the authentic "Tele" sound described above, which makes this instrument a great choice for any style even remotely associated with Rock & Roll. And the guitar truly comes into its own when combined with a high-quality tube amplifier that brings out every nuance of its sound - perfect for the studio, the rehearsal room, and the stage, all of which the Fender Telecaster has long called home.

C
It's like a hassle-free Strat.
Colstar99 07.04.2021
I've always had problems with Strats, the pickups and the tremolo would always be just 'off', I always had a feeling that the sound could/should be better. I just wanted to have a hassle-free guitar that I could play and not have to deal with tuning issues and intonation problems every time I changed the strings. I bought a cheap Harley Benton Tele to see what they were like. I was impressed but in the end I wanted a better quality instrument. I bought the Fender Player Tele and I absolutely love it. It looks gorgeous and sounds fantastic (great pickups). A very small set up out of the box (intonation) and then it played like a dream. No more whammy bar nonsense, just plain old rock 'n' roll and blues now (and hard rock, and metal, and country, and pop, and even a little bit of jazz, it can cover them all). Highly recommended.

For the price, you're getting a Ferrari

I owned and played a Squier for the longest time. The difference in playability and feeling from the Squier to this Player series beauty is absolutely noticeable. Any beginners or a few who know will play often, I would highly suggest buying this guitar over a cheaper one. If you try playing a cheaper guitar after playing this one for considerable time, you'll thank yourself you bought this one!

B
Proper fender guitar
Bezna 15.04.2021
First off, I'm not a professional musician, I just jam with my room mate. I've had quite a few guitars over the years but none actually played like this one. To be honest this guitar has been a childhood dream of mine. I really love the maple neck, yea I know, it's a matter of taste, but i think the roughness goes well with the guitar's natural twangy sound. It somehow retains the "guitar" sound even with heavy fuzz or overdrive.

When it comes to build quality it really seems that Fender managed to solve important issues they had over the years. Good job! The guitar was perfectly set up. even the intonation was proper and it came with a document that was hand signed by the people who oversaw the quality control and set up process.

Thomann delivered as always. Good packaging and management. They set the bar pretty high. Thank you guys!
