Excellent after a setup
Out of the box this guitar is a mess. Hardly playable, action way to high, one of the saddles was unscrewed completely and truss rod needed a half turn. High e string broke on first attempt to tune it.
After a proper setup, excellent guitar. Sounds like any other tele and if you don't check the series on the back of the headstock you can't tell it's mexican or american made. Has some really nice pups, with quite high output once you max out the volume knob.
All in all, it's a great guitar, but it's a shame it comes unusable out of the box. For a beginner player this could really be a setback and could make someone who just got into playing get into quitting.
Maybe it would be a good idea for Thomann to add some quality control before the guitars are shipped or better yet, Fender should start taking its clients seriously before they completely lose their market.

Solid guitar
Very nice finish. Once I re-adjusted the neck, guitar is really playable. Sounds as expected from this type of guitar in this price range.
Cons: String tuners are low quality. Too sensitive for the small rotation and guitar goes out of tune quickly.
