Great stool but torturous assembly
Maybe I am the only one unlucky to get the stool with the wrong part, but I almost gave up assembling it. The metal ring that you see in the middle, in my case, was much much wider than the legs, so in order to fasten the ring to the legs, I had to apply unimaginable amounts of force while holding bolt and nut to squeeze them together and then somehow find a 3rd and 4th arms to fasten them. I used my legs to hold them together. I spent more than hour assembling it. Torture. Awful. Never ever I was that exhausted.
Once I managed it, the stool is very solid and stable. It even rotates. I was thinking that, IF I manage to assemble it, then any slightest thing I don't like about it, it goes straight to the box and shipped back. But despite the fact it gave me so much trouble and the fact that I wasn't able to normally play the guitar the next 36 hours due to arms hurting, I kept it to myself. I guess that alone goes to show that it is a good product, but the ring....

Fender made in China
How the f... can thomann sell this piece of s...
Nothing fits....the ring is much wider than the legs. Good luck trying to assembly that.
Please remove this product from your selling list thomann, it is coming from a crap factory in china that does not give a s... about quality and functionality. I am amazed that Fender approved this chinese workers

Looks great, Comfortable to sit in
I use this stool in my guitar practice nook in the corner of my living room.
The materials are great quality and the black on black gives it a really classy look.
The stool is sturdy and comfortable. allowing me to practice for hours. It does not take up alot of space, so it fits well with my guitar stand, music stand and amps taking up very little real estate.
It is not particularly difficult or complicated to build. Although it takes a little more time and focus than you might expect by looking at it.
If you are looking to use this as a bar stool, or practice stool you cant go wrong with the quality. And if you want something Fender, or guitar themed. with an understated look, then this is a great design whether sitting in your music room, bar, living room, bedroom, study , kitchen...anywhere you might imagine wanting one.

Little less quality than in comparison to other brand
I bought this one together with the Ortega stool. Even though they look the same and are constructed fairly the same, this one clearly was made with a bit less attention on quality. Fabric less neat upholstered, and also the swivel is very stiff. I think with a lot of moving around eventually this one will last less long.
Do like the plain black color, and I wish Ortega had a plain black one too.
On a side note when repacking the stuff I saw this one is made in China instead of the other one made in Vietnam.

Simply great!
I use this barstool for home practice and it?s really great way to easilly force yourself to grab a guitar and play for a while at least.
Assembly is very simple and takes around 5min.
Stool is well made, nothing is creaking or wiggling.
Only the seat could be more padded as the cushion layer is quite thin and after some hours becomes uncomfortable.
Anyway, very good product though!

Excellent Barstool
I use the barstool when playing my bass guitar. It was very easy to assemble and it is made of decent quality, sturdy materials. The dimensions of the barstool mean that it is comfortable when playing for long periods.

Very comfortable but may get unstable
When you screw all the screws the feet seem to be at different heights. Using it on top of a carpet is fine but in a hard floor it may be bumpy.
