Hervorragende Vintage-Spec-Jazzmaster
NickWha 17.11.2022

Amazing Jazzmaster
Marcof86 19.02.2024
It’s not limited edition, it’s not a Masterbuilt Custom Shop with high pedigree, it has not quarter sawn woods, nor fake aging. It’s a regular, factory made Fender Jazzmaster as it was 60 years ago, and It’s perfect. All American standard guitars should be like this, I love everything of this guitar. Thomann service perfect as usual.
It is so solid, with resonant wood and tightly assembled.
The 7.25 radius neck comes with quality looking rosewood, is very stable, and gives many dynamic possibility. The standard tall frets are perfect, they're not ultra tall as the ones frequently used in the custom shops that looks and feel to me out of their place in this kind of guitar. Obviously is not a neck for shredders, but this is why I love it.
The lacquer nitro finish is nice to touch and have a really good smell.
The color is so beautiful, the clear parts are much light amber and yellowish compared to others I've seen. The amber neck is so good looking although not period correct, but to be honest I don’t mind, since I only wanted a good guitar, not a 60’s copy.
The tremolo works very well, also the bridge is ok, the guitar stays in tune perfectly and I didn’t experience stings skipping, but it’s the weak spot of the guitar since is not so practical when it comes to change strings. The pickups sound super open and full of harmonics, the neck one is fantastic and itself is worth the guitar.
We all read about QC problems, but this is a newer model with CBS period correct headstock and was made in 2023, so seems Fender solved the issues they had, since the guitar is perfect, except for some very little scratch that are understandable due to the fragile nature of the nitro finish.
Honestly I would re-buy this guitar a thousand times.

Why did it take me 30 years to understand?
Rymsha 17.08.2024
Growing up I had a strat. From when I was 17 until 30-ish when I was able to afford to have more than one electric and one acoustic. I always dreamed of the Tele, the 335, the Les Paul, maybe even the occasional Gretsch. Then I get this Jazzmaster 30 years down the line and my main question is - where have you been all my life? Sure there was a tuning issue with the tremolo system, but having replaced the stock for a Mastery and lowered the string height a bit, it is rock solid. This guitar sounds full, rich with overtones and sustain. It's great clean and dirty. And the tremolo is just beyond what my strat or Bigsby can do. This has become my no 1 guitar. And did I mention the sunburst is stunning? By far my best looker too.
