My second guitar, a clearly noticeable step up!
Swangoose 22.09.2022
I sold my Ibanez S520 to get this, and spoiler alert, I am very pleased with my purchase. I hoped for more in terms of color. It's not that see through as depicted on the product page. And even though I am very rigid and demanding in terms of quality and did find some inconsistencies in the surface of the lacquer, these were tolerable and barely noticeable even for me. Just worth noting that my Ibanez was absolutely perfect from every angle up close. Everything else and I mean everything, looked and felt perfect to the touch. But when plugged in, man, this thing sounds huge and crisp, it's a whole other animal. It's definitely more than twice the guitar I sold. It's a big step up in the upper entry level guitars, hard to find anything even slightly better for this price. It has exactly and everything I wished for in a guitar and I'm falling for its aggressive and refined purple body, more and more!

solid guitar

Shipping was fast. When I openedit, it was in tune and without marks or scratches. But...the screws were rusty, especially at the neck pickup (the ones holding the bracket). They have to be replaced, since it's hard to atest if the rust is deep and the screw would brake if you wanted to replace the pickup or doing general dissesembly. Seems to be a problem with Quality control with the scews, before they applied the pain/coating. One of the frets has disscoloration (not rust, since it was smooth), the nut had to be deepend for the 1st string (no big deal). The radius, intonation and string height is perfect. The soldering is also good. Frets are the same height, without a wooble.
The guitar is a bit on the heavy side (at least for me, switching from a squier bullet HSS), but nothing to wild. The sound is good and has a wide pallet of sounds with the coilsplit.
The colour is a deep purple (no pun intended) and comes to life in sunlight, and it's not as vivd in normal lightning conditions.
All in all it's a good guitar and I would recommend it, despite the rusted screws (in my case).

This is one of the best guitars I have tried.I'm definitely keeping it. I couldn't find anything that made it worse than an expensive premium guitar
