Elixir individual strings
Anonymous 13.09.2016
I was delighted to discover that Thomann sold individual Elixir strings as well as sets. With most sales outlets it is not always the case especially on an island out in the Atlantic, where I am based. I use Elixir string exclusively on my guitars as I can get way more toneful service from them than any other strings I have tried. Weeks rather than days, which for someone gigging five or six nights a week is a big saving on both money and time to restring. My only problem was that after five or six gigs you can lose the first or second strings from breakage which would normally be a sign to change out a set but with Elixir that isn't neccessary as long as you can source individuals. I now buy 10 sets at a time plus 6 first and 6 second strings and I'm covered for months rather than weeks across my guitar collection.

I buy these every couple of months to keep as replacement, as good as it can be and super long-lasting.

Really handy

Great to be able to purchase single Elixir strings. The B being a very common breakage for me its very helpful of Thomann to supply single strings instead of having to buy a full pack. Great help.

Excellent Replacement Strings
David8581 03.07.2015
I currently use Thomastiks on my jazz guitar, and when the top two unwound strings corrode (as I go through strings very quickly) I replace them with spare 13s and 17s (or sometimes 14s and 18s) from Elixir. Because they are coated, they last ages. I have been using Elixir Nano 10s on my other guitars for years, and I am very happy with the brand.

I use Elixir strings and it's frustrating to have to buy a new set every time. Thanks Thomann for having all of them in single packs!

Best Strings EVER!

Elixir are the best strings I have ever used. Long lasting, easy on your fingers and they sound great. I have to buy the high E and B strings separately because I busk a lot between gigs and I play a bit heavier when busking acoustically (for obvious reason).

Very good value high string

I've been using these Elixir strings for years, and I've yet to find some strings this effective yet! This one has that special anti-rust coating, which is good if you hate rusty, corroded-prone-to-break strings as much as I do.
I can assure that they last a long time without even changing their color too much, and the tone will definitely benefit from that
