Good looking, simple, great picks.
If they told me you 're stranded somewhere with your guitar, choose your picks, these would be the ones I 'd choose.
They 're my all around favorite ones, if I want to play clean or heavy distortion, they produce a good clean attacking sound I love.
And they wear out very decently.
If you have a cat and a wooden floor, prepare for fun times playing hide and seek. That is one major con!
But it makes you stretch and stuff, so it's good?

Ultex—similar to Tortex
I compared prices of packs of Ultex and Tortex plectrums on 30 July 2023.
6 Ultex .73 (item n. 151422)—€5.90 (about €0.98 each).
12 Tortex .73 (item n. 228306)—€7.50 (about €0.63 each).
The difference in price is rather trivial; so it comes down to appearance, feel, and sound.
Ultex .73 plectrums have a translucent off-white colour; I dropped one and couldn't find it.
Tortex .73 plectrums are yellow; I dropped several and had no trouble finding them! ·
Ultex and Totrex feel about the same, but I prefer the grip of TUSQ ST .68 plectrums.
I strummed a steel string acoustic guitar with the different plectrums and didn't hear any difference!
It seems a key factor is a plectrum's thickness.

My favorite picks. They are not very elastic so if you want that, you may look elsewhere.

One of the best...
It's 0.73 but the material is hard. The pick attack click is amazing and if you need some these are your boys. Especially sick for death metal riffs on low strings but an amazing shred/all rounder.
Also the fact that they are so thin means you can play forever and not get tired.
Much love, must have bought at least 50 so far.

Sharp brings difference
I use the Ultex Sharps to play acoustic guitar. Works well on Dread and even better on OM. Sounds good both for strumming and solos. Grips quite well too. For extra grip I apply some perforation by drilling a dozen of tiny holes on the "grip side". Durability is sort of an expected issue here, since these picks become worn/round quite soon.

Long Lasting
I use these on 10-46 gauge strings tuned low and they add some bite to attack. Tough and long lasting, works equally well on bass. Can't think of any cons except that they might feel a little stiff at first. I will definitely buy more..

A cut above
Found one of these somewhere somehow and really like it so I finally ordered some. Nice and smooth with just the right amount of stiffness for me. No dimples or anything to improve grip, but very nice overall.

perfect for me
after trying different pick, I settled on this one. its is perfect for me.
been a user of it for years. first started using it while covering soundgarden. in 2010 probably never will using anything else again. Its not only for rock.

Great picks!
I discovered these in Finland whilst on tour a few years ago and have never used anything else since! I love the feel of them - sharp yet flexible, strong yet subtle. I break fewer strings and play more accurately with these, the only slight criticism being that they are a bit 'clicky', but you only notice that at very low volume or unplugged. Give them a try - they might revolutionise your playing!

Favourite for acoustic
Just enough flex for strumming and stiffness for picking. Smooth, durable and nice to hold. One of my favourite picks.
