I bought these mostly for fun. Wanted to try thin strings. It was a blast. They sound "thicker" then they are. I'm used to .09-.10 normally so this felt like bending water :) Maybe not really my cup of tea these ultra thin, but they surprised me in a positive way. I might buy more one day when I have a proper guitar that I can dedicate to them :) Well worth the purchase.

007 Guitar Strings !
Robert814 25.11.2014
I've been using these as my mainstay "Go To" strings for over 3 years now. They are very much an "Acquired" taste, just like the Red Sharkfin plectrums that perfectly complement them (283751). You have to be prepared to change your style. If you push them around too much and too hard, then they will go out of tune. (If you use hyper-sensitive power assisted steering, then drive heavy handed you may end up in a ditch!). If you want to be able to relax and enjoy really comfortable playing - for hours (If the rest of the band like/can put up with!) then these may be the perfect strings! If you want to smash hell out of the guitar - get some anchor cable or 012's or something, not these. These are THE most comfortable strings ever!

Hot damn

I usually use 11's, so this is a big big jump for me. They are suprisingly good sounding, they stay in tune, even with extreme overbending, there is so little tension that you can do weird stuff with them, but you got to be careful on pressing with your tapping hand so than the notes don't go over the pitch. Also, a lighter pick attack is perferable, they are not for chugging, but damn, on my LP, now I know why Billy is playing them.

Really impressive

I saw a video where people tried out these strings as a challenge, and I thought I would try them out just for fun. My usual go-to strings are Ernie Ball Skinny Top Heavy Bottom strings, which is a much heavier set. I was really surprised at how the Dunlop strings hold tune. I use them on my Fender Telecaster, and they made the guitar a lot more fun to play. Obviously, they bend easily, but they still give quite output. Overall, great strings, and I'm thinking of putting these on all my guitars!
