Dunlop Primetone Standard Smooth 0.88

These are my favourite picks, and I think they're noticably better (and, strangely, also grippier) than the 'grip' versions. They're worth the higher price than standard Tortex/Ultex. Thanks also to Thomann for stocking these as a special order!
It says they're made of Ultex, but having used Ultex a lot, there is something different about this material.
I prefer them to other materials because they DO wear a bit, and develop a really great texture on the edge. Some people might like this, some might not (I pick with the edge all the time). In comparison, Tortex picks wear down to a smooth, rounded edge which doesn't sound as good, and Ultex picks don't wear down at all! These ones get that nice raspy articulation when they're a bit worn in, which is exactly what I want. Hope that helps!
