I was amazed
WamiPajami 14.01.2019
Honestly, I get it... It's just a guitar pick...

No Sir/Madam. This guitar pick is designed....correctly...With care. Honestly, the previous JP signeture picks.....they've been...Ok? I mean, they just feel like signatured versions of a Jazz 3.

But this pick.....whooowee. Seriously, this is something new It combines the stability of a Jazz 3, the strength and the edge as well, but it's finally smooth! It can finally flow without feeling like a tactile cluster of clicks.

And it feels good! It grips well, it moves well and if you're someone who enjoys sweeping. Than this is the one! It bites well with little to no flex but is forgiving on the attack angle. It just feels snug and does it's job well.

I honestly wonder why it took so long to come up with these.

GOOD GRIP, STRUDY BUILD, GIVE GOOD CONTROL ON STRINGS FOR BOTH SHREDDING AND RHYTHM PLAYING - IT IS SLIGHTLY LARGER THAN AVERAGE PICKS ESPECIALLY COMPARED WITH THE JAZZ 3 DESIGN

They make you play faster :-) Love the size; a tiny bit bigger than Jazz III. A must for any Petrucci fan.

Fantastic picks! Just try out and potentially be amazed!
Shinigamy91 08.07.2018
Ok, so at first I was very sceptical when I saw these on youtube etc, though meh, just another pick, Petrucci uses them, bla bla, kids are going to die for these. But, I decided to try them out. So far I have usually been using 1mm Dunlop Jazz 3 and previous Petrucci signature pick, but not as much as Jazz 3.

Grip:
This pick, I haven't read a specification, but it's coated with some material which is very smooth but it doesn't slip in fingers at all. I'm very suprised how this pick works regarding that.

Tone and Playability:
In general, I have been using 1mm picks most of the time, since I liked a bit more "sharper" attack from them, when picking really hard. This pick is much bigger, but I found out that it's just running through the strings like hot knife through butter! My sweep arpegios and fast runs are sound even better and smooth, if I was to rate in numbers, 20-30% smoother and cleaner. I even had recordings before and after, and this pick just helps a lot. It's tone is a bit rounder, not as bright as Jazz 3, but I kinda start to like it. They are rounded around the edges, so they're not getting "caught up" between the string wound, thus much faster playing and smoother. Especially if you're using thicker strings like I do (11- 64).

Durability:
When recording a song or just jamming, In general I burn through at least 2 - 3 picks in few hours (jazz 3 picks). I pick very hard and sometimes very fast, and they get dull easily. I've been playing Flow pick for few days, I guess more than 10-12 hours of playing in total, and I'm still using the first pick I took from the bag. And it's still rounded and pointy as first day. I don't know what magic is there, but it's awesome.

So there you go, as a person that usually doesn't buy bullshit marketing stuff, I am converted into full time using these picks. Just try them out, maybe they change your life too!

That's a good article. Even they are thick, they are very good to play.
The plastic envelop was a bad quality for that price, but the picks are good

much better than originally thought. i bevelled the right side of each for left handed so its more like a wegen, so now it plays rest strokes really fast and well. one fifth the price of a wegen too!

I've finally found the perfect pick
Waldorg 01.05.2020
Pros: This pick binds strength and extreme precision together, this is the perfect pick. And it looks incredible too.

That's what you expect from the signature pick of the guitar god JP himself.

Cons: The picks, unfortunately, don't come with JP's skills included. Back to practice, then!

Great pick quality-Sound is a personal thing
Jackson99 10.12.2018
I used the old 208s years ago so when I heard these were based on them but had the Jazz3 shape I had to try. Great quality picks but expensive, so don't loose them! As always with these, there is a distinct "click" due to the size especially in the thinner strings. This can get annoying and requires you to alter your midrange a lot, so think twice as you will need to adjust your setup and tone.
