Good strings for lapsteel
The only negative is that the winding on the ball-end is a bit too long and ends up rubbing against the axle for the levers on Duesenbergers multibender bridge. The strings used with the bender levers thus break far more often than they should. Plain strings with shorter winding like for example standard d'Addario electric-strings last a lot longer. This is also a problem that Duesenberg can solve in the design of the Multibender if the slot in the lever for the string is not cut all the way through to the hole for the axle. Then the string would rest statically against the remaining material in the lever instead of rubbing a against the axle every time the lever is moving.

A
on an old lap steel
I bought these on a whim, and I have been pleased with the sound and quality they brought to my old lap steel. Though I never really know what constitutes great electric strings, I know when they are bad. These are not bad and are as good as can be.
