Sounds amazing but not too long lasting
A fresh pair of theese sound absolutely amazing. Just a fantastic sparkle from them. They do however seem to go dull a bit faster than other brands, like Martin or Darco.

Nice strings, best price
I'm using this string on 2 guitars, on a Fender CD-60 and a Fender Wayne Kramer "Royal Tone". However the two guitars are rather different, these strings fit perfectly, and making a round, complete sound, with warm bass and clean but powerful trebles, completed with a smooth mid. With full chords there's no
rattling, or noise (which is surprising on the Kramer), even when strummed really hard, and for the picking I cannot say anything just that you have to try. I know that these guitars are not like the top, but that's why these strings are even more amazing. These are able to create a real guitar feeling, I always wanted to achieve something like AIC MTV unplugged sounding (Jerry Cantrell), and by far, these strings are closest on the CD-60. With the Kramer, you should expect more like Tuesday's gone by Metallica (lead intro) which is also a great tone. Not too much to think about, if you're looking for something new, other than Martin, D'addario or Elixir or Fender strings, these are perfect, as somehow DR strings are not moving in the same tone range. And don't forget to check out DR Sunbeam as well!
Worth the money, tone is gorgeous for a long time, and feels good to play on.
On my setup it's 10/10 for overall 10/8.5 at least.

This strings are definitely RARE - you cant usually find them anywhere! Great sound, great longevity, great quality - I think by now none of us expect less from DR Strings. Cant go wrong here for the money.

interesting
the sound on these is very bright and somewhat edgy, which is to be expected from a core that is not round. I will be honest, I really dislike these strings when tuned into E, but love them when tuned down to D. they feel a lot more medium, almost high tension, and not what I would call light at all, but overall the sound is quite interesting. I am a fan of a more vintage, mellow sound, and these are definitely more in the bright and punchy spectrum, although they do have plenty of depth as well. all in all extremely good strings, but not my kind of sound. The strings did put DR on the map for me, however, and I will most certainly try out their other offerings as well!
