Love it!!
I have wanted a resonator for some time now as I've long been a fan of old time blues and slide guitar.
I tried out a few different ones (mostly Gretsch and Epiphone models) in a local guitar store and I knew the Hound Dog just sounded and felt the best. Luckily Thomann had the same model listed for a fraction of the price so I ordered it the minute I got home (the glory of internet shopping).
When it arrived it sounded every bit as good as the one I had left in the store. Also, aesthetically beautiful to look at. Currently learning some nice fingerpicking blues on my new addition.
Pros:
Slick, sounds great (for the price)
Cons:
Have to play sitting down cos it's ridiculously heavy!!

Great Value for the price.
As a resonator guitar for the price I paid it is a good value for money instrument. It is very basic in construction, hardware etc.
It stays in tune and plays well. It is comfortable to hold and play. It needed a few minor adjustments which is ok as every guitar has his or hers specific requirements, action height string gauge etc.
The tone is ok but not fantastic but thats what you get at this price range, A very playable guitar and a good addition to any collection if you only play resonator now and again. It records well and does what it says on the box. I recommend it anyone who wants to a resonator to mess about with. It is build very well and is a sturdy construction.
