Great pickup, great sound and definition....bla bla bla, BUT if you are planning to buy the kit (bridge & neck) pay attention to the polarity mismatch.
This is a long topic, not for beginners or people that don't like to work on their own guitars (tweaking/modifing, etc) BUT if you want to obtain 'dead quiet' operation in all 5 positions, you have to REVERSE polarity (non simply reverse the winds of the coil) and that involve flipping the magnet.....definately not an easy operation, due also to the cover of the pickup.
Took me one hour, but now it works in the right way.
DiMarzio offer (only by request) every single model with the opposite polarity (e.g. Twang King neck with north polarity) but not sure if Thomann own these models in the warehouse.
By default every SINGLE pickup (I mean NOT single coil but single unit) is offered with the same polarity.
Please, correct me if I'm wrong!
