An interesting upgrade
casual musician 22.05.2021
Fit perfectly into my Harley Benton acoustic.
There is a clearly metallic ring to the tone now - I can't say it's good or bad - it's a bit different, I should say.
The tone is clearly improved - it rings out better and the sag is just lovely. The sag of the resonance almost makes my 80euro acoustic sing like a Taylor 614 I used to own.
But I'm not too fond of the attack - there's a metallic ring to it now, and it could be the fresh set of strings that make it very pronounced at the moment. Hopefully it will smooth out when the strings age a little.

At first I thought it was a hype, but at least my tone really changed!
Archion 17.05.2020
Watched some videos on Youtube about the brass pins and although I was a bit sceptical, I still decided to pull the trigger. I put them on my Sigma tm/12, which is basically a copy of Little Martin and in addition to making the sound a bit louder, they indeed made the tone brighter as well! Some may say that making such a small guitar even brighter sounding is a really bad idea, but I personally like the resulting boxy and bluesy sound of it. The only problem I have is getting them out of my guitar to change the strings.

Sustain & Bright

These do change your sound, a bit, with a brighter and more sustained and metallic quality, definitely an improvement.
The pins were not as tight, on my first use. One flicked out, when The String was being tuned, luckily I found it ok. They are holding ok, now, after gently knocking into place with a hammer.

Small item, big effect.

Whether you are into the aesthetics that these kinds of bridge pins can accord, or you want to eek out some more treble on your tone, I believe you will be a happy with your purchase too. Although plastic bridge pins naturally feel very cheap to begin with, I'm still very pleased with the high quality of the pins in comparison.

Great upgrade for any acoustic
HHHugo 10.01.2021
Upgraded my cheap fender acoustic with these and you can really hear the difference! the downside is that they wont fit all acoustics and you may need the file or drill out the holes a little bit, but that is easy and anybody with set of calipers and a drill can do that.

the gold coating wore off pretty soon but the color of alloy of these brass pins are not so different so it isn’t too noticeble

Rings like a bell

Substitutes ivory pins on hybrid HB. The sound went just clearer, more ringing in a super nice way.

Superb

These are an attractive and well made upgrade for any acoustic. To my mind and ears they don't appear to change the guitars tone, which was not what I wanted in any event, but, and more importantly, you know they are never going to snap and leave you trying to dig the shaft out with a sharpened drumstick during the emergency string replacement part of the gig, and they look great.Bye bye wooden bridge pins.

they DO NOT make you sound better
chrisphobia 22.07.2022
but they look cool as hell. just please don't buy into the crap. a lighter bridge will sound fuller and louder FACT. but as I said I like how they look and I needed to chill my guitar down a bit. it is now slightly quieter and less lively, what I wanted.

I actually stumbled across these by accident here on the Thomann website and though "hey, for the cost, I better give those a try!". I am sure glad that I did! The REALLY open up and brighten the sound of your acoustic. It is all personal preference but no one can argue that these are not an upgrade from the cheap plastic pins most acoustics come with! Try em out, its not like you are out a bunch of cash if you don't like them!
