An absolute monster

If you want your clean guitar tone to always be heard, and don't want to spend a ridiculous amount, this is an amp you should be considering. You get 50 watts of tube power, which is insane. This is not a tube practice amp. For that, consider something like a Blackstar HT5R.

You get a lot of control with this amplifier - most notably a 3 band EQ and a presence control. This guarantees you a good sound that'll fit in any live or recorded mix. I found the sound to be nice and chimey, but not too bright, even at really high volumes. Maybe not as pretty as a Vox AC30 but it is a fraction of the price.
There are also standard gain controls for each side (clean and dirty channels) and universal master volume and reverb. The reverb is digital, but what reverb isn't. Kudos to Bugera because it sounds so good that I didn't feel the need for a separate pedal at all.

We have a great clean channel, but problems begin to appear with the gain channel, at least straight out the box. The overdrive you get is muddy, fizzy and hollow sounding. A real letdown after hearing the clean channel. If you're not a distortion/OD pedal devotee you're going to be disappointed. HOWEVER, after replacing Bugera's stock tubes I found the sound to be drastically improved. It was like a whole new amp. Everything just sound much better and I managed to get some lovely crunch tones. If you want to get a really saturated, tight distortion tone though you're going to need to run a boost or overdrive pedal in front of the amp.

In conclusion it's a pretty great amp, BUT nowadays it doesn't really have a place. With venues running much improved PA systems, you could save your money by getting a Bugera V22 - if it's not loud enough (unlikely) you can mic the amp. However, if you like your band bone crushingly loud and have a distortion or OD box you love, this amp may be worth your consideration.

Combo a válvulas

The amplifier answers me with a tone I wanted. It has a wonderful clean sound, and a drive with good definition of notes. The reverb gives you an ambience sound option where you control to your liking. The product draws attention to the quality in the finish. Overall, it is a very good valve amp, with great cost. I just did not like the fact that it was powered by 220v, because in the city that I live the electricity network is 110v, but I managed to solve it using a voltage transformer, and it worked perfectly.
I am very pleased because the 55 watts of power speaks very loud, and I can carry it without difficulty.

Great value for money

HIgh quality and great sound. I bought one for my son some years ago and it has held up with great sound and durability. I will buy a second one for myself if I pick up the guitar again.

A
Quality/Price ratio unbelievable
Anonymous 07.03.2017
The amp has 2 channels...however only the clean is really challenging the very expensive competitors. The dirty one i personally think that is poor and definitely i wouldn't use it if i wanted a quality sound especially if i had an expensive guitar. On the other hand, the clean channel is wonderful. Ok probably is not that nice clear Fender sound but is very close to it and if you consider the price then it makes you really think if it really worths paying a thousand more for a little bit more better clean sound.

Personally, for someone who is an experienced guitar player who wants more the clean sound and he wants a reasonable price tube amp to practice i think this is the one. Moreover you can buy a nice overdrive pedal and just use it on the clean channel and there you go.

If you want a crystal warm clear sound and possible to use it for recording top tunes or you keen to use both channels i d say that it d be better to look some where else.Don't get me wrong but even in this case u might end up choosing this one again because of the price/quality ratio.

Great amp for the money!
Anonymous 31.05.2015
This is a great amp for the money. The cleans are the best I've heard. It also loves pedals, stick a tubescreamer in front of this clean and you're in country rock heaven!
Two things to mention, you'll need to change the tubes. I swapped mine for jj's and it sounds amazing clean.
The other thing to mention is the drive channel is not the best. It sounds a bit fizzy to me. But with a clean channel this good you don't really need it. Just use a pedal.

AS
Well Built Amp
Abraham Sarache 22.05.2019
I bought it in 2017 and the guy is there taking all the power I give him

Full valve great amp in an affordable price.

I have recorded even a Black Metal band with this. In general it is a blues amp, but if you are willing to turn the buttons, you can put a lot out of this guy.

Big sound. Great construction. No complaints

Nice tube amp
Anonymous 15.08.2015
Good clean sound. The distortion is bad and is not useful to me, but I use a multieffect pedal, so this is not a problem. I don't see the reason to change tubes, because the amp has a nice tube sound.

It's a 55 watt tube amp, it's powerful and for the money you can't get a better amp. For guitar players who use effect pedals, I highly recommend it.
