My new Behringer VMX1000USB
I have found myself wishing for extra inputs when DJing in the past few months. My VMX200 was just too fiddley when switching between line and phono, and with so many people coming up with their mobiles wanting me to play a track I decided it was time to upgrade.
Looking around I soon decided on the Behringer VMX1000USB as the desk for me. The fact that I could have so many inputs easily controlled as well as my laptop as a USB input clinched the sale.
Now I can connect my two CD decks, laptop and Tablet and still have two cables ready to connect anyone's phone should I need to - GREAT!!
The controls are easy to use but I would have liked to see the sync beat LEDs that other models have, they just make mixing a bit easier, however that is such a small detail in comparison to the overall high quality of the desk.

A budget mixer with a professional feel
I've used Behringer audio systems for years. My latest VMX 1000 looks the part and does everything I need for a small mixer. The sliders are replaceable and feel solid (not light and cheap). The output from the mixer cannot be faulted, linked with Behringer speakers I've entertained tens of thousands of people without ever having to worry about a 'show stopper'.
