Worth every penny
I was looking for a good quality IEMs, mainly for HiFi and some monitoring on-the-go.
I tried quite a few different IEMs, including these praised Chinese "5 BAs/3 BA+Dynamic" miracles. Spoiler alert: don't fall for it, Chinese may put 10 BA drivers into one earphone, but there's no proper engineering/tuning, so it really doesn't matter how many drivers they may put, if they don't tune them.
I stopped my search once I heard ATH-E70. This pair is just the best 300 EUR can get.
It's 3 BA drivers, very well engineered, very balanced sound - although it does depend a lot on silicone/foam buds you'd be using.
None of the included silicone buds ( foam buds cut highs, I dropped them immediately ) fit my ears, I have generic replacement buds lying around that fit very well, so that ( the only ) problem is solved.
ATH-E70 are highly recommended for any application IEMs may be used for.

Serious upgrade from SE215
I used to use a set of SE215s for my in ear monitoring but it always felt very muddy/poorly defined. I thought this was down to getting a mono feed, but a friend encouraged me to upgrade.
It's a night and day difference with the ATH-e70. They are more expensive, but a good bit cheaper than the triple driver shures, and honestly they're at least as good. It's made a world of difference with my in ear monitoring!

Excellent and value for money IEM
I have been researching the best possible IEM at a sensible price for some time now. Previously I used a Klipsch X10i which has proved OK but lacking in a balanced output - not enough lower mid and bass. At any rate, they are literally falling apart!
I trust Audio Technica as a company and the ATH-E70s confirmed this trust. Excellent build quality and really comfortable. Soundwise - again, excellent ie reasonably balanced across the range with no glaring issues. Great sound stage and dynamics. Bass is a tad elevated with a complete ear seal, but I'd rather that than be irritated by excessive treble.
Only gripe - had to buy some large comply tips. Not much to moan about then :-)
Thomann also excellent - extra year warranty the reason I went with them.

Great for the price
Amazing for the price, the bass sounds really good in these when using as monitors on stage. I had to buy different ear tips, foam ones, as the ones that are included didn’t hold well in my ears. Since then I had no problems, can jump, talk, sing - headphones stay in with perfect seal. Good little protection box included, but unusable if you want to take it in your jeans pocket (I.e. music listening when travelling) - it’s too bulky - but these are mainly for monitoring, easily stored in my bass gigbag.

Great for stage monitoring!
Been using these for over a year now and they work so well. Very sturdy cables, reliable sound, comfortable - all you need for stage monitoring at a fair price!

5 stars all the way
TL;DR
1. Nice controlled punchy bass - perfect for on stage
2. Very nice wires - they make it easy to position the wiring in the right place, behind the ear, little bit less stiff than the standard from SHURE
3. Massive SPL
4. Super isolation
5. Highly recommended.
The only downside is that they are not very bright, but this wouldn't be something that I would be concerned about on stage! 5 stars

I'm using these headphones to listen to music and also as monitors while drumming.
These headphones made me realize that I've been missing a lot of information from the tracks I've been listening to for decades. The sound quality is so good, so clear, so how it should be. It also made me want to throw out all the other headphones and loudspeakers that I have.
The only thing that I find not good enough are the eartips. The headphones come with a bunch of different sizes and types, but none are good for me. I have big ear canals and if I move and / or make facial expressions the headphones pop out of my ears. I bought SpinFit eartips and it's a little better, although I still have to push the headphones in from time to time.
I really recommend these headphones.

Very good price/quality ratio
As a stage in ear monitor, I have tried cheaper solutions from popular brands, but I had to hear the sound from the various instruments and voices much more distinct, clear and precise. This in ear does the job well!

These in-ear monitors have made all the difference to my band :P
It was hard to hear myself in a loud 5 piece rock band, but after the introduction of these in-ear monitors, it has meant that I at least can hear myself and practise/perform better. It works a treat - highly recommended product!
