R
Quality instrument
Robert7183 29.09.2021
This has got to be the best hardware product from Arturia to date. A quality build, responsive controls, good firmware, excellent computer based editor and many realtime controls on the unit itself (ribbon, pitch and mod wheels and the morphee) make it a really expressive instrument. Like all synths, you really need 4 hands to play it in realtime but this beats most other synths hands down on the playability front.

The presets are good too. Its a hefty instrument so you wont want to move it around too much. Good for basses, leads etc like the matrixbrute is/was but this can do stunning strings/pads as well. Easy to create your own patches too. Recommended.

M
Brilliant
Martin475 01.03.2023
I have a Matrixbrute.
I was a bit worried that the Polybrute wouldn’t have the “fatness” of the Matrixbrute. I needn’t have.
It can be anything you want. Polite but equally dirty. Brilliantly laid out controls.
The matrix is not a gimmick.
It can be used for selecting patches, choosing modulations etc.
The randomiser is the best I’ve used in any synth. It’s not totally random as it seems to create new sounds out of existing presets.
I had the knob turned fully left and on turning it the sound went from a honky tonk piano like sound through to a cello and finally a distorted bass.
With no further editing!
Build quality is excellent.
When you get it first put it where you’ll keep it most often. Then let it warm up and then tune it.
I’ve had no problems doing that way.
100% recommend the synth and also Thomanns fantastic service.
Always deal with them. Best prices and also best customer service. Which is very important.

O
Excellent sound, profound capabilities & great integration
Othon 06.05.2021
This is one of the finest instruments I laid my hands on! It is very intuitive to learn (with great Tutorials by the Arturia team online) and it is incredibly musical. For someone who is a pianist and a composer as well as a producer/dj, it is a great gift, as it complements my creative work on all fronts.

One of the greatest surprises has been the excellent support for some questions I had from the Arturia team. I am truly amazed by the professionalism and passion of these guys! It makes the whole learning process and experience so much easier, enjoyable and meaningful! Well done Arturia team for both an exquisite creation and for taking care of us every step along the way!

JM
Probably the best synth for the money
Jonathan M. 448 10.02.2023
The flexibility of the synth is amazing. The build quality is amazing. I've tried the competitors instruments in this price range and they don't compare. Would highly recommend
