Great desk
Grace 04.02.2015
Great sound and very very easy to use. Layout is straightforward and works perfectly running a five-piece band. Love the effects, really nice tap feature and also easy to setup and use. I am very much looking forward to taking it out into a big venue. Sounds really beautiful in conjunction with my qsc kw122s. All of my gear is bulky, so I struggle to fit it into my guitarists car, though this desk teemed with a flight case is well worth the squeeze. Would buy a hundred times over. If you are hoping to mic up a drum kit and gig with horns, and several singers however, I would definitely opt for the same desk with more channels. Good buy!

Excellent Mixer
Xavier2057 17.02.2015
Nothing to say in terms of number of inputs. Output are a bit short if you do not use the USB. In fact if you do not use the USB you loose one output. And out of the main ouputs only one of 2 can be used so you can only have 3 outputs counting the mixer, the mains and the headphones. The AUX is only monophonic also. The USB port for the PC unfortunately is only 16 bits and still uses USB 1.0 which is quite lame for today's standards and absolutely not mentioned anywhere. Big omision is a power button.
With that being said, the rest is impecable, quality and features are all there. The sound is very clear - doesn't seem colorized until you use the effects.
The effects are many and there's even a tap-tempo - too bad midi is not present for this. The effects also have very options but most are usable.

Allen and Heath love em
Wrentec 18.09.2018
I love Allen and Heath so this is a biased review! the pre amps I find are clean and have loads of headroom, the build quality is brilliant and the desk is well laid out and easy to use. This desk is mainly used by my Dad for his soslo gigs and he has no problems plugging it in and setting it uo.

Very happy
Cameron E. 19.10.2014
Got funding by a local company to buy some new PA equipment, saw this and it is just perfect for what we need it for. Easy to use, looks very nice all set up. The ability to use it as an interface i like as well, only thing i would change is having it so you can record each track individually in to a DAW.

still though, very pleased with the purchase would recommend it to anyone! if not that exact model, a few models up depending on what you need it for.

The best move I ever made.....
MKB0908 02.10.2014
Upgraded my current mixer to this one and OMG the sound quality is amazing, both through the channel for music and with my AE-5400 - warm, clear, rich sound, and the effects are VERY good. I cannot praise it enough and for a reasonable price too I am delighted :)
All I need now are 2 x subs to compliment my PA and I'll have the most awesome of set ups!! Got the best deal with Thomann too and as always excellent customer service.

RN
The most versatile mini mixer on market
Ray N. 03.06.2015
With it's eight channels and two of those with built-in DI, plus faders instead of the usual mini-mixer knobs, this is a brilliant little tools.

At home for a solo or duo or even up to a full four-piece band.

This is a great sounding and easy to use 'Professional' tool.

There are many other mixers in this price bracket but with Allen & Heath you have years of experience and research and development to fall back on, all that experience has gone into producing a compact mixer which can still deliver the goods.

With built in FX too, and good quality ones at that, it's all you ned to get on the road. . .

ME
Nice mixer for the buck!
Marten E. 02.02.2014
I wanted a mixer to fit my current and future setup.
Sound quality is good, no "hums" from this baby!
I am mainly using this mixer for home use, but wanted to have a descent mixer for possible use on the road (as a keyboard/hammond pre-mixer).

4 stars allover, mainly due to my lack of experience in similar mixers (in the same price range).

My current setup:
- Hammond (Mini B3)
- Akai Sampler
- 1 Mic (harmonica/song)
- BT stereo input (for play along)

Planing to expand with:
- Nord electro 4 HP
- 3 Shure Mics for my Leslie 3300W

Excellent Desk
Jonny Williams. 29.07.2014
I bought this to replace my Mackie CFX12 that was giving up the ghost, it was an American one, the new Mackie stuff gets poor press these days, so I went for this through recommendations Glad I did, whether it's just coincidence or not, but had lots and lots of comments at gigs about sounding great.
It's an excellent bit of kit and one I would recommend, would have been nice to have had a light indicating if effects are on or off though.
Easy to use and set up.
