Alaska Fingerpicks M

Very good for finger style guitarists looking for an alternative to growing out your nails or playing with fingertips. Adds a nice tone to playing as they are louder than playing with nails or fingertips. They are very good for using with thumb picks as they are louder and balance out the volume of the bass and treble notes. They are very durable and easily fit on your fingers and under your nails. They can be stretched out easily to fit your bigger fingers and can be bent back if you go to far and they end up loose. If they are still too tight you can snip the second loop on the finger pick to aid expansion and to fit better.

Quite a natural feel
-TDK- 07.02.2023
The key to successfully using these is to take time to modify the fit before the first use, even though it does take a bit of time filing etc. I’ve found about 1-2mm of nail growth is adequate to ensure a secure fit. Once that is done they are surprisingly natural feeling and offer a tone that is very close to that of the finger nail. I don’t see myself ever using these exclusively over my natural nails but in times when more volume is required or a nail is broken, these things really are a revelation.

Note: I found the sizing to be a little smaller than the guide suggests. I would encourage those in doubt to order a size larger. I have slender fingers and a medium would be pinky sized.

I think I should have ordered the large. Plus, fingerpicking is hard to do. It feels weird.

Otherwise no problem.

Substitute nails!

These little nails rock!

Fully adjustable and timmable from the basic sizes. For a good fit.

Not quite concert real nails sound on classical but good for a substitute and saving real nails. Works well in steel too!

Very average fingerpicks

Really tunable fingerpicks but they don't stay firmly on your fingers no matter what.
