Deep, Powerful, Clear
Set up in my home studio alongside my A7X's.
Seamlessly paired together with Mogami gold cable and sounds amazing.
Producing electronic and sampling music and use the speakers for referencing and general listening of everyday music.
You can tell the difference between differing quality of recordings and mastering as you should with transparent monitors.
Plugging the satellites into the Sub and being able to set my own crossover point gave me the control or setting at 85Hz flat is as flexible as it gets.
Once set up for my room I have not had to readjust the volumes on either the A7X's or the Sub 8 and have never turned them up to max, in fact the A7X's sit on 0db and 0db on the Sub 8 is way too much for my liking and i like it deep and loud.
Only con as with most studio equipment is to turn the amps on/off last/first or Pop. Otherwise, no complaints at all.
The A7X's by themselves were great but with the added lows of the sub made my audio (wet) dreams come true!!
Project studio owners look no further than an Adam Audio set up, highly recommended.

No shake, no rattle, no roll
I'm very happy with my sub 8. The low end extension and definition is simply jaw dropping.
While my initial tought was "who needs a remote?", this option is mighty convenient.
A word of caution, this sub can and will reveal insufficiëntly damped room modes.
So before you invest in a sub like this, fix the acoustics of your room.
If you don't want to (or can't) do that, then this sub is not for you,
you're better off buying something about half the price...
In my case, when given a new choice, I would simply pick the sub 8 again.

Adam Audio quality in a nutshell
This beast is seamlessly matching with Adam A5X series which I have. They are produced to work together, therefore I felt no mismatch at all.
I am using them in my little home studio just for electronic music production in techno and house genre. Having minimal acoustic treatment at home. Adams recoil pads under the A5x's and a recoil pad that I have made from bulk cork and hard plexiglass plate under the Sub8. So Sub8 and the near field monitors are isolated from the surface they stand on. This improves the response dramatically. Makes the use of Sub8 very efficient.
Whole low frequency response is extremely clear and flat. I am using the cross-over above 90hZ it feels very efficient there. As well as clarity is very audible.
Using the Sub8 for more than one month everyday, had noticed no cons for this equipment apart from being large which is nature of sub-woofers. Still more productive if you would compare the volume with dimensions of products in similar price range.
Motorized rotary knobs are really a privilege to have. This way you can adjust the cross-over frequency and sub-woofer volume remotely and see what is the current settings from the front face of the Sub8 itself. Feels so good, and obviously built quality is top-notch.
I would definitely recommend as a must have accompany for near field monitors between 4.5" and 6.5"

Solid Sub.
Bought this to complete a 5.1 setup with A7X's.
Be sure to read the manual, don't just plug and play, there are a couple of options on the back for power efficiency, (on all the time, or auto standby after 15 mins of silence), and a crossover setting for satellites. Getting the right sound is about experimentation: placement, the adjustable volume and low pass filter, are all key in getting great sound. I really dig this thing.

Outstanding sound wasted in an untreated room
quality product from Adam paired with my A7Xs. So much low end presence without the rubbery boom of other units. Sturdy construction and nice size. well protected components from most inadvertant abuse.
Only thing I found a little unusual is that it doesn't pair exactly with the A7X model in design or xover specs. looks like it was between models in some aspects.
Has a remote which would be way handier if it had an on/off button rather than just freq +- and volume +-
Blind test it and you will not be disappointed, fantastic sub and fills a small room no worries - have not tested in a large control room.
